Jesse Joshua Watson, who illustrated the fantastic covers for the Hank Zipzer series, wrote to let me know that the Fonz AND Jesse (who is even cooler than Henry Winkler) will be doing a signing and presentation at Third Place Books at 4 p.m. on May 1.So if the Bainbridge event is tough to get to, you'll have this additional opportunity to meet the creators and celebrate the popular series.
Jesse is going to show some of his original covers and rumor has it that the model for Hank Zipzer (who comes from a famous family in children's literature) might even appear, too.
