Join SCBWI Western Washington for our inaugural quarterly Published Pro Think Tank on Friday, April 15, 2011 from 3-5 p.m. In a casual environment that includes afternoon refreshments and the fine company of pals and peers, SCBWI P.A.L. (Published and Listed) members are invited to bring their recent publishing triumphs, quandaries, and ideologies for a lively discussion and group brainstorm. Topics planned include celebrating each other’s latest news, sharing pointers for savvy uses of social media, discussing the future of children’s book publishing, brainstorming marketing tactics in an ever-crowded book market, and inspiring one another with unique approaches for juggling – and balancing – it all.
Kid Lit Drink Night will take place later on the same evening. So make plans now to join us for the Think Tank, grab dinner with friends at one of the many restaurants at Redmond Town Center, and come back for more social activities!
There’s no cost to participate in the Think Tank, and you don’t have to attend the SCBWI Western Washington conference to join us. But you must be a current SCBWI P.A.L. member. If you haven’t already signed up via the conference, RSVP for the Published Pro Think Tank on or before Friday, April 8 by emailing sara@saraeasterly.com.
