Page Ahead has an opportunity for volunteers to read with kids! They are looking for volunteers--especially in South King County and Tacoma--to read with preschool and kindergarten classes this 2011-2012 school year.
Volunteers choose a weekly, bimonthly or monthly schedule and must commit for a full school year. Story Time occur during school hours and last approximately 45 minutes.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED IN:
Auburn, Bellingham, Burien, Des Moines, Everett, Federal Way, Kent, Mount Vernon, Renton, SeaTac, Spanaway, Spokane, Spokane Valley, Tacoma & Tukwila. Volunteers remain in their same classroom(s) throughout the school year.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
Volunteers should be comfortable in the spotlight and enjoy interacting with children. Must complete a half-day training and pass a background check.
