Members of the SCBWI are invited to attend Page Ahead’s Second Annual Best Books for Kids Awards event on Wednesday June 15, from 6- 8 p.m. at the Library Bistro in downtown Seattle. They will announce the winners of the 2011 Best Books for Kids Awards.Page Ahead serves 55,000 children in need across Washington State with new books and literacy services. They hope that these awards will serve as a guide to parents, teachers and librarians for choosing quality children’s literature.
The event is free – hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served. Be sure to RSVP here if you plan to attend.
