We will be screening the documentary The Phantom Tollbooth: Beyond Expectations, a feature about the beloved children's book by Norton Juster.
The evening will commence with a presentation by Whidbey Island author Deb Lund (Monsters and Machines, the Dino- series, Tell Me My Story, Mama), who will present her latest project, "Fiction Magic: Card Tricks and Tips for Writers." Deb has created a deck of cards with wonderful writing prompts and strategies, which she'll share. This is the culmination of Deb's many years of writing, teaching, and coaching––all in a single deck of cards! To read about her inspiration, click here.
