Gilman Village, located off Gilman Boulevard in Issaquah is fast becoming a writing mecca. First, the Pacific Northwest Writer's Association has opened Writer's Cottage, a warm, welcoming place to sit and write, host book signings, participate in book swaps. You must be a member of PNWA, but the $65 annual fee includes lots of perks in addition to entrance to the Village--it's worth it! They are having a Open House/Meet and Greet on October 30. Check out this link for more information.
Second, the Issaquah Coffee Company is about to open their doors! You can write there, or get your latte to go and bring it with you to the Writer's Village.
Finally, Village Green Yoga offers a T/Th lunchtime class from noon-1 p.m. that is a terrific writing break. Write for a couple of hours, yoga for an hour, write some more. A perfect day!
Thanks to Allyson Valentine Schrier for this great information! Have you checked out Story Sleuths? Allyson is one of the contributers for this writer's blog.
