Ballard is filled with writers, some better known in other states than locally. This is a chance to meet "the writer next door." It's a free, casual evening for anyone and everyone in Ballard to meet and mingle with neighbors - who just might be award-winning childrens' authors, young adult writers, crime writers, psychics and/or historians. There's going to be 25 authors talking about how to build an audience in this new world of publishing (three of them are children's book authors: Liz Gallagher, Kevin Emerson and Nina Laden). There will be books by all participants on sale by Secret Garden books and and Author Bingo - with door prizes!
