Book launch grit

Spokane member Mary Cronk Farrell will read from her new book, True Grit, at the Secret Garden Bookshop on Monday, March 3. The fun starts at 7:00 p.m., and Mary will share more about her book, which recounts the story of 101 American Army and Navy nurses who served in the Philippines, worked in jerry-rigged jungle hospitals, and then were captured as Japanese prisoners of war during World War II.
