Say WHAT??
One
of the givens in a picture book is how well the illustrations match the
text. But in some books the words say one thing while the pictures tell
a whole different story. We’ll look at picture books where the text and
illustrations do NOT match, creating a new level of depth to a story,
then talk about ways to incorporate these apparent inconsistencies in
our writing.
