Speaking Volumes through Wordless Picture Books
How do you write a book with no words? This Wednesday, February 4,
we will examine wordless picture books and the stories they tell.
Wordless picture books show the same story elements that other picture
books, chapter books, and novels use. Even if you’re not an illustrator,
studying wordless picture books can be helpful in telling your own
stories. (They are, after all, the gold standard of the “Show, Don’t
Tell” rule!)
