In honor of Youth Literacy Day on Friday (8/26), 826 Seattle is presenting a few writing projects similar to what they might offer students at the center.
Write an 8-2-6 haiku, an 82.6 word short story, or an 826 character news article. They'll publish their favorite entries daily, and favorites will receive tote bags full of 826 swag.
And on top of the stellar programming 826 offers local youth, there are a couple of workshops left in the season for the Write Like I Do workshops for grown ups. Details here.
