We're sad about the news that Portland author Bridget Zinn passed away on Wednesday, May 25, from complications of colon cancer first diagnosed in early 2009. Many of you participated in our conference raffle and auction contributions raising funds toward her medical bills. Her family and friends note, "The support she and her husband, Barrett, received from hundreds of friends, family members, fellow authors, and fans not only helped to pay some of their medical bills, but helped her maintain her awe-inspiring positive attitude throughout her illness."
