Voting for the 2011 Crystal Kite Member Choice Awards is going on now at SCBWI.org. All SCBWI members can vote.
To cast your vote for the best book published by a PAL member of your SCBWI Division (which is broader than our Western WA region) during 2010, follow these steps:
1. Log in at SCBWI.org with your email address and password.
2. Click the link that says, "See what's going on in your region!" on your Member Home Page.
3. Click on the "Crystal Kite" tab of your Regional Home Page, and browse through the titles and authors. You may also search for a specific book or author in your Regional Division. Author names are listed alphabetically by their FIRST name.
NOTE: Once you vote, you won't be able to see the nominees any more, so look through carefully before voting (or know in advance what book you want to vote for).
4. Click the "Vote" button next to the title you wish to vote for.
The first round of voting continues until midnight (PST) on Monday, February 28, 2011. The top 5 finalists in each division will advance to the next round of voting, which begins on Wednesday, March 2, 2011.
